ATLANTA — Atlanta police are releasing body camera video of a man being arrested after his pregnant partner called the police on him for the third time in the same day.
Officers say a pregnant woman flagged them down near Ellsworth Industrial Blvd. last week. She told them her significant other had just hit her several times with a gun.

Police said the woman had visible injuries to her head, neck, arms, and legs.
She told officers he was still in the area and was armed.
Officers found the man, later identified as Willie Lewis, trying to get out of a parking deck in a car.
In the body camera footage, officers can be heard shouting commands at Lewis to put his hands out of the car and then to get out of the car. After a brief resistance, Lewis can be seen being taken into custody.
Investigators learned that officers had been called to the victim’s residence twice earlier the same day, but by the time they had arrived both times, Lewis had already left the scene.
He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and cruelty to children and taken to the Fulton County Jail.
