Sara Pascoe is learning how to do the world’s most endangered jobs in the hilarious series Last Woman on Earth with Sara Pascoe on BBC this weekend.
Off-screen, the comedian recently announced that she was pregnant after going through IVF with husband and fellow comedian, Steen Raskopoulos.
She also opened up about her pregnancy struggles after suffering a miscarriage at the beginning of last year.

Sharing a selection of pictures showing her pregnancy bump to Instagram, Sara wrote: “I’ve been shy about posting about my pregnancy, partly my own anxiety after losing one at the beginning of the year, but also awareness of what other people may be going through.
“There can be so much sadness felt alongside the happiness (and luck) of others. However I’m in the third trimester now and realised if I don’t post soon, you’ll see me with a buggy next year and think I stole a kid.
“Also I conceived via IVF, so huge love and support to anyone going through it or thinking about it. I want you to get everything you deserve and hope you know how brave you are to go on this journey of the unknown.”
Sara married husband Steen in 2020 after meeting at an Australian comedy festival two years prior.

In an interview with the Big Issue, Sara admitted the pairing was initially “kind of my mum’s worst nightmare,” as she became convinced her daughter would move to Australia after meeting her new man.
Confronted by her mum telling her “you are not moving to Australia,” Sara told the Big Issue she was thankfully able to reassure her, “no, he’s moving here.”
She added: “I’ve done the opposite to my dad – he married an Australian, I’ve stolen an Australian back.”
Sara has elsewhere admitted that her Australian husband is in fact not the love of her life, instead claiming it is someone else.
When asked by The Sun who was the love of her life, Sara hilariously answered: “I should say my husband, but it’s my dog Mouse. He’s a cross between a Jack Russell and a springer spaniel and he’s very handsome.”
Fans of Sara can catch her on BBC Last Woman on Earth With Sara Pascoe on Sunday (9 December) from 9pm
