Brothers face murder charges in shooting that killed man, injured pregnant woman

Two brothers accused of killing a man and injuring a pregnant woman at a Northside apartment complex are facing more charges.Police say officers responded to the 1900 block of Kentucky Avenue around 3 p.m. July 17 in reference to a shooting.We’re told a domestic argument of some sort had been going on for 30 to 40 minutes when three shots were fired in rapid succession from the parking lot towards a man standing in the doorway of one of the buildings.Authorities say responding officers found a victim, later identified as 34-year-old Anthony Billups, suffering from a gunshot at the location before being transported to UC Medical Center.Officials say Billups died at the hospital.Authorities say a pregnant woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the shooting as well.Cincinnati police say Darrius and Deonte Wilson were arrested around 12:30 a.m. Monday. Court records say both men were caught on video and were identified by witnesses. The two were indicted on five counts including murder and felony assault.Investigators say security footage shows Deonte Wilson firing the shots.They believe he got the gun from his older brother.
