Chinese Five Spice Roast Chicken

Who doesn’t love a cooked chook!! Most people make a traditional roast chicken with traditional potatoes and other vegetables. This however is a completely different take on a Roast chicken that leaves you satisfied with a fresh meal!

Chinese Five Spice Roast Chicken


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees or the BBQ

  2. In a small bowl mix all of the ingredients together into a paste, except for the chicken.

  3. Cover the chicken with the paste, making sure you cover all areas of the chicken.

  4. Leave the chicken to marinate in the fridge for at least 3 minutes.

  5. Roast he chicken for approximately 1.5 hours until it is golden and the juices run clear.

  6. serve with stir fry vegetables. .
