Longmont United Hospital is opening an OB/GYN clinic to provide access to comprehensive women’s health services on one campus.

The Women’s Health Clinic, at 2030 Mountain View Ave., Suite 400, will start seeing patients Thursday and is taking new patients.

“We are continuing to look at all ways to provide services to our community and make sure they have access to high quality medical care,” said Kristi Olson, Longmont United’s interim chief executive officer. “Taking care of moms and taking care of women from late adolescence throughout their lives is very important to us.”

The clinic will be staffed with board-certified gynecologists and obstetricians. The obstetricians will deliver at Longmont United Hospital’s birth center, as well as partner with a midwifery group to provide water births in Boulder County. Previously, the hospital contracted with physicians to provide physician oversight for deliveries. With the opening of the clinic, the hospital will employ the providers.

“They’re very good, and we’re very excited to have them,” Olson said.

The lead provider for the clinic is Dr. Srijaya Soujanya Nalla, who provides adolescent patient care, preconception counseling, basic infertility treatment, prenatal care including high risk pregnancy and well-woman exams, as well as treating patients with menstrual problems, chronic pelvic pain, abnormal pap smears and menopausal issues.

She performs the following procedures: regular deliveries, instrumental deliveries, cesarean sections, hysteroscopy, D&C, endometrial ablation, LEEP and conization of cervix, laparoscopy, hysterectomy, robotic assisted surgeries and prolapse repair. She has been robotic surgery trained since 2017, is board-certified by the American Board of OB/GYN and is a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN.
