‘Obviously it was a shock!’ Marnie Simpson reveals she fell pregnant with second child during a ‘break from baby making’ with fiancé Casey Johnson
Marnie Simpson has revealed she fell pregnant with her second child with fiancé Casey Johnson during a ‘break from baby making’.
The reality star, 29, had been trying to conceive with the Union J band member, 26, for three months before a work commitment on a mystery TV show forced the pair to stop, as it required her to dance regularly.
Having shared the happy news earlier this month, Marnie wrote in OK!: ‘As it was quite a physical show, I said to Casey that we’re going to have to pause the baby-making for a while as I couldn’t be pregnant while doing something so extreme on my body.’

But the former Geordie Shore star told how she soon began to feel sick and suffer sore breast but put it down to doing more exercise than usual.
Admitting she thought it was down to strain on her muscles, a confused Marnie took a test as soon as she returned to her Bedfordshire home which gave a positive result.
She said: ‘When I look back on when Casey and I first found out we were expecting another baby, we were really excited. We both burst out laughing as it was just the right time for us.

‘Obviously, it’s just always going to be a shock finding out when you’re pregnant, isn’t it? We’re both so happy about it and we’re just over the moon we will have another little one soon.’

Expecting: The former Geordie Shore star soon began to feel sick, not to mention her breasts were hurting, however she put it down to doing more exercise than usual
Marnie told New Magazine: ‘I’ve been sick out of the car window three or four times. This time I genuinely feel like the walking dead.
‘I can’t even explain how horrendous it’s been. I feel sick all day every day. With Rox I felt so healthy and glowing and I was a ray of sunshine, I was never going to be that lucky again.
‘I’m older and my body has never been the same since having Rox so I think it was always going to happen.’
Marnie said that she first began suffering with symptoms while she was away filming for a TV show in September, with doctors noting her low pressure while she completed a bungee jump.
They added that they aren’t sure if they want to find out the sex of the baby before the birth as Marnie is ‘99.9% sure’ this will be her last pregnancy and will never get to be ‘surprised’ ever again.
However Marnie went on to say she ‘would love a little girl’ and could dress her up in pink outfits, before adding that as long as the baby is happy and healthy she doesn’t mind.
