Julian Pierce, Licensed Acupuncturist and owner of Park Place Acupuncture, received her degree in 2018 at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the New York Chiropractic College.
She started her acupuncturist career at sea and she later opened her own practice, Park Place Acupuncture, after also gaining experience on land. Now, two years later, she has moved her growing practice to a new location at 3375 E. Main Rd., Dunkirk, NY 14048.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a five-system model that includes acupuncture, nutrition, herbs, tai qi (meditative movement), and tui na (Chinese medical massage). At Park Place Acupuncture, Julian heavily focuses on acupuncture and nutritional recommendations to promote healthy lifestyle outcomes for her patients.
Acupuncture has been recognized by the CDC and other health organizations for its effectiveness in the treatment and management of hundreds of conditions such as pain, infertility, women’s reproductive health, anxiety and depression, insomnia, hypertension, migraines, allergies, and so much more.
During a patient’s initial consultation, they can discuss questions and concerns at length with Pierce. This conversation will assist her in creating an individualized treatment plan that includes an acupuncture point selection, frequency of visits, and nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations.
Pierce reassures newcomers that treatments are rather relaxing and not as intimidating as some may think. Acupuncture is the use of fine needles that are essentially the width of a human hair. They are specifically designed and used in a way that allows for painless insertion.
Please contact Pierce with questions and to schedule an appointment. Book an appointment online at ParkPlaceAcu.com, email JPierceLAc@gmail.com or speak directly at 716-680-8188.
