Amber Portwood’s ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon is accusing the “Teen Mom OG” star of using drugs while she was pregnant with their son, James.
Glennon, 37, alleged in court documents obtained by The US Sun Tuesday that his reality star ex, 31, has a “history of substance abuse, even while pregnant with and subsequently caring for the minor child herein.”
Portwood denied the allegations in her court response, saying she “has not used any substance, except for prescription medication taken within the therapeutic limits,” according to the report.
A source told Page Six, “Amber has nothing to hide, and this yet another attempt by Andrew to paint her in a negative light.”
Portwood’s rep did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The MTV personality gave birth to her and Glennon’s now-3-year-old son, James, in May 2018. The pair then split in July 2019.
However, the drug allegations have now come due to the former couple’s ongoing custody battle.
Glennon reportedly claimed in court documents that Portwood’s “paranoid” behavior during an Oct. 16 custody exchange set off alarm bells.
The concerned dad alleged his ex was “acting erratically, speaking frantically and appeared completely paranoid and disheveled.”
“[Amber] went so far as to allege that two nearby vehicles were ‘staking her out’ and waved down Petitioner/Father as he was leaving with the minor child to ask him to tell the individuals in the nearby vehicles to ‘stop’ staking her out,” Glennon’s lawyer said in the court papers, per The Sun.

The California-based father claimed he had previously witnessed Portwood under the influence of meth and alleged her Oct. 16 behavior was “substantially similar” to when she allegedly used the addictive stimulant.
Glennon is now demanding that Portwood take a “hair follicle drug screen” test, which she reportedly said would be “unnecessary due to her history of negative drug screens.”
Portwood and Glennon had a very contentious breakup after she was arrested in July 2019 for allegedly attacking him with a machete.
Days later, she was charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, and Glennon filed a request for an emergency hearing to gain sole custody of their son.
Portwood pleaded guilty that October and was sentenced to probation and ordered to attend parenting classes.
The “16 and Pregnant” alum also has a 12-year-old daughter, Leah, from a previous relationship with ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley, with whom she first rose to fame. However, Portwood recently said she has not seen Leah in “quite some time.”
