On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Memphis Smith confirmed her pregnancy with Hamza Moknii’s baby. Some fans claim Hamza is not the father.
The 90 Day Fiancé cast member Memphis Smith announced that she was pregnant with Hamza Moknii’s baby after their honeymoon, but the timeline of how it happened is confusing to many fans of the show. Muskegon resident Memphis met TLC viewers as she packed her bags to go to Tunisia and get married to her online boyfriend of seven months. With the season coming to a close, Memphis’s plan is a success, as she and Hamza did marry during 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episode 15. However, Memphis also confirmed rumors of her pregnancy in the very next scene, making viewers question the paternity of her baby.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY
Memphis was instantly attracted to Hamza the moment he messaged her. After staying single for years, Hamza gave Memphis butterflies in her stomach. Fans witnessed Memphis and Hamza enjoying “sexy time” via video calls and those were seemingly the only two words that they could speak, thanks to their language barrier. However, Memphis said she was ready to get married to B90’s Hamza without even getting engaged after meeting him for the first time. During 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episode 1, Memphis’ friends told her that she didn’t even know if her personality matched Hamza’s. However, Memphis wanted to jump straight to the spousal visa, instead of getting a K-1 visa so Hamza could come to America faster.
Memphis also described her plan in-depth, by saying, “I’m gonna go down there for a week, then we get married the second week, and then we have like a honeymoon season for the third week.” During B90 episode 15, Memphis and Hamza had their two-day-long Tunisian wedding ceremony, after which they took a trip to the Tunisian coast for their honeymoon. On the last day of their honeymoon, Memphis showed Hamza a positive pregnancy test. As per Memphis, her stomach was hurting and she was waking up feeling “a little nauseous” during the trip. “I was not trying to get pregnant on this trip, but we weren’t taking a lot of precautions, so I mean, we knew that this is something that could happen,” she added. Then, fans couldn’t help but do some mental math to figure out the length of Memphis’ trip and her symptoms, to try to see if they matched. Some speculated that Hamza was not the father of Memphis’ unborn child.
The main reason for the suspicion was the way that Memphis desperately kept pushing Hamza to get married. Some fans were unable to recall how long Memphis had planned on staying in Hamza’s country. However, it was Hamza himself who cleared up the confusion by revealing that B90’s Memphis was actually staying with him for a whole month. He even added the dates to his Instagram story, which confirmed that Memphis went to Tunisia a year ago, from January 8, 2021, to February 3, 2021. Considering this, Memphis and Hamza’s baby likely arrived last year. Memphis and Hamza had been intimate immediately after her arrival in Kairouan, and it’s possible that she conceived on the first night, leading to a positive test three weeks later.
Even though Hamza is defending his wife and didn’t raise any questions about the pregnancy when she showed him the test, there have been some visible problems in their 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days relationship. Hamza has been mocking Memphis via his Instagram, and she has accused him of being a narcissist amid claims of him humiliating her to gain IG followers. Fans fear that B90’s Memphis and Hamza could get divorced despite there being rumors of them filming for a new season with the franchise. Maybe Memphis’ pregnancy timeline is something that shouldn’t be questioned, as Hamza appears delighted to have become a dad, as seen through his social media updates.
